Making a Difference in Our Community For More Than 25 Years

Community Mediation Services (CMS) has provided exceptional services to the northern and western suburbs of Minneapolis for more than 25 years. We make a difference in the community because of the support of dedicated volunteers, referral partners, and public and private funding. Our staff is knowledgeable of the mediation process, provides individuals with a grounded understanding of how a mediation works, and prepares individuals for mediation.

Each volunteer mediator attends a 30 hour mediation training certified under MN Rule 114, completes an apprenticeship and fulfills annual continuing education requirements. We provide these rigorous training opportunities and supervision to ensure professionalism in the mediations we arrange.
